چکیده

Tuberculosis (TB) is a highly contagious disease, and the increased mortality rate continues to be cause for concern. Although anti-tuberculosis drugs are available, it still affects mankind, causing millions of deaths each year. By integrating biological data on gene sequences, expressions, protein structures, drug target prioritization. The number cheminformatics databases small molecules tools assist discovery has also grown. Many researchers investigating potential medication therapies that could in this battle along with medical care system throughout world. We present docking?based screening using quantum mechanical scoring library built from approved compounds Bergenin, Laccaic acid, Swertiamarin, Magnolol, Curcumin, Emodin, Pasakbumin A, Umckalin, Plumbagin, Maritinone, Tetrahydro3,3?-biplumbagin epigallocatechin Proteins PDB id’s 4W4I, 3Q0V display antiviral activity against Tuberculosis. Ideally, these should undergo experimental assays clinical trials verify their effectiveness disease. hope findings may contribute rational design Tuberculosis.

In-silico Investigation of Antitrypanosomal Phytochemicals from Nigerian Medicinal Plants

BACKGROUND Human African trypanosomiasis (HAT), a parasitic protozoal disease, is caused primarily by two subspecies of Trypanosoma brucei. HAT is a re-emerging disease and currently threatens millions of people in sub-Saharan Africa. Many affected people live in remote areas with limited access to health services and, therefore, rely on traditional herbal medicines for treatment. METHODS A m...

In Silico Genome-Wide Screening for TnrA-Regulated Genes of Bacillus clausii

Bacillus clausii TnrA transcription factor is required for global nitrogen regulation. In order to obtain anoverview of gene regulation by TnrA in B. clausii KSMK16, the entire genome of B. clausii was screened forthe consensus sequence, 5’-TGTNAN7TNACA-3’ known as the TnrA box, and 13 transcription units werefound containing a putative TnrA box. The TnrA targets identified in...

In silico Screening for Signalosome Inhibitors

Introduction The COP9 signalosome (CSN), a multi enzyme complex, is involved in cell cycle regulation. CSN possesses kinase activity that phosphorylates proteins such as p53 and c-Jun [1] and is therefore an interesting therapeutic target for anti-tumor drugs. There are known inhibitors (e.g. Curcurmin) of the kinase activity associated with the signalosome but they exhibit low binding constant...

The Search for Herbal Antibiotics: An In-Silico Investigation of Antibacterial Phytochemicals

Recently, the emergence and spread of pathogenic bacterial resistance to many antibiotics (multidrug-resistant strains) have been increasing throughout the world. This phenomenon is of great concern and there is a need to find alternative chemotherapeutic agents to combat these antibiotic-resistant microorganisms. Higher plants may serve as a resource for new antimicrobials to replace or augmen...

Active phytochemicals of Pueraria tuberosa for DPP-IV inhibition: in silico and experimental approach

Background We had earlier reported that the extract of Pueraria tuberosa significantly inhibits DPP-IV enzyme, resulting in glucose tolerance response in rats. In this study, we have explored the active phytochemicals responsible for this potential. The results have been validated in both fasting and postprandial states in the plasma of normal rats and also in fasting blood and intestinal homog...
